The success of the mega movie ‘Avatar’ has forced filmmaker Rakesh Roshan to rethink about his ambitious future venture, sequel to ‘Krissh’, starring Hrithik Roshan.

James Cameron’s ‘Avatar’ has impacted not only the box office success of its Bollywood competitors but has also left several filmmakers rethink about their future projects.

Rakesh Roshan doesn’t reject the fact that Avatar has indeed forced him to hold his plans to make sequel to Krissh. “I saw the film in Los Angeles. And it certainly made me sit up and rethink about Krissh. But I don’t think it is impossible to create effects on par with Hollywood. We need to budget Krissh-2 intelligently.”

After the box-office success of the superhero sci-fi film Krissh, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan had planned a hugely ambitious sequel to the movie that would certainly raise the bar when it came to sci-fi flicks in India. But after watching the Hollywood blockbuster Avatar, the Indian director is definitely having second thoughts about making the sequel.

With jaw-dropping special effects of Avatar that were completed on an enormous budget using the newest technology, noted Bollywood filmmakers have been rethinking the making of sci-fi movies that can measure up to this Hollywood blockbuster.

It looks like James Cameron’s Avatar has indeed brought in a cinematic revolution across the globe, raising audience expectations to a whole new level!
